Mayor's Civic Awards
Nominations for the 2023 to 2024 Civic Awards are now open.
Many individuals, groups and businesses have gone above and beyond to help people in our community. The awards honour local people and organisations or businesses that have made a real difference to our community and officially recognise the achievements that have been made.
Guidance before nominating
Before making your nomination, read our guidance on making a nomination.
Make a nomination
To nominate someone, please complete the online form:
Mayor's Civic Awards nomination form
The Awards Panel will select winners based on the information you provide, so include as much relevant information as possible. Short statements with little information are very unlikely to be successful.
Your application needs to be completed in one go using the online applications form. It is a good idea to think about the reasons why the person, group, organisation or business deserves a Civic Award and write them down, or type them into a Word document so you can copy and paste them into the form when you come to complete it.
