Temporary use notice

Temporary use notices allow the use of premises for gambling where there is no premises licence but where a gambling operator wants to use the premises temporarily for providing facilities for gambling.

A temporary event notice could be used for a one-off event or until somewhere more permanent is found. Examples of premises that might be suitable are:

  • hotels
  • conference centres
  • sporting venues
