Road resurfacing
The Council recognises that the upkeep of the Borough's roads is important to our residents and has an annual programme of road resurfacing.
The list of streets that will be completed as part of the 2025 to 2026 road improvement scheme are:
- Maritime Road
- Boathouse Lane
- Oxbridge Lane
- Thornaby Road
- Thorington Gardens
- Blair Avenue
- Low Grange Avenue
- Imperial Road
- Wolviston Road
- Wellington Drive
- Ragpath Lane
- Aislaby Road
- Low Lane, Leven Bank Road
- Norton Road
- Neasham Avenue
- Durham Lane
Resurfacing works will also be carried out as part of the traffic signal upgrades during the summer holidays at the following junctions:
- A1027, Darlington Lane, Dumbarton Avenue
- A135 Yarm Road, Station Road, The Avenue
Other patching works continue to be carried out on roads as required.
