Library mobile services

We offer a range of library services for people who may not be able to get to one of our library buildings.

Home Library Service

Our Home Library Service can deliver items to your home if you are unable to use a community library.  We provide access to the same range of materials as those found in a community library.

The service can be permanent or temporary, for example if you are recovering from an illness or accident.

Visits are made on a 3-weekly basis, as detailed on the timetables below, by our staff who carry identification.

This service is free and you can request this service for yourself or on behalf of someone else. Contact the team on mobilelibrary.services@stockton.gov.uk or 01642 528045.

Mobile Library Service

Our Mobile Library visits the parts of the Borough where there is no static community library within easy reach.

The Mobile Library carries a range of materials but on a smaller scale than a community library. It operates on a 3-weekly schedule, visiting on a set day and time and at a designated place.
