Have Your Say - North East

Since 2017, Bright Minds Big Futures has been using feedback from the Make Your Mark consultation to find out what matters most to young people in Stockton-on-Tees. As Make Your Mark comes to an end, we're teaming up with other youth councils across the North East to create an exciting new way for young people to share their views.

Have Your Say - North East gives young people aged 11 to 18 a meaningful way to express their views on key topics such as education, health, the environment, crime and safety, and more. The results will help shape local decision-making, highlight what young people want to see change, and give them a real sense of ownership in their communities. Taking part also supports important learning around democracy, citizenship, and youth voice.

Thank you to all the young people who took part in the consultation. Your views are important and will help shape the future of our Borough for young people. We have now reviewed the responses, and the top two priorities were "Jobs, Training and Opportunities" and "Health and Wellbeing".
