The new Family Help Point service by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council offers a first point of contact for anyone worried about a child's safety or wellbeing.
The service can help with a range of things, including:
- if you are concerned about a child's safety or welfare
- if you think a child might need extra help or support
- if you want to discuss whether your own child might benefit from support
- if your child has a disability or additional needs and may need an assessment
- if you are supporting a child or family that may need support or a referral
- requests for information from approved services
The Family Help Point service will make it easier for families to get help when they need it and for professionals to respond quickly.
