Children in our Care Council

The Let's Take Action (LTA) groups are the Stockton-on-Tees Children in our Care Council. The groups give children and young people the chance to shape and influence services and have a say on the things that matter to them.

We currently have the following groups:

  • LTA (young people aged 16 plus)
  • LTA Plus (young people aged 16 and over with additional needs)
  • LTA Junior (children aged 5 to 11)

The groups enable children to share their views, develop life skills and also enjoy themselves. They provide a platform for care experienced children and young people to contribute to making positive changes in the Local Authority, as well as reviewing, improving, and shaping services for young people across the Borough.

Each of these age groups will meet on different days. For more information and to find out what days the groups meet, please see our No Limits Hub activity timetable for more details. Follow the @LetsTakeActionSOT Instagram account for more details.
