Care Leavers Discount
If you are a care leaver under the age of 25 who is liable to pay Council Tax you may be entitled to a discount.
To qualify for a reduction you must:
- be a care leaver under 25 years old and
- live in Stockton area and have been placed by one of the North East Local Authorities
You will not have anything to pay if you are liable for Council Tax.

We will be in touch with you to check that all the relevant discounts or exemptions are in place.
If you qualify for a reduction, it will be automatically paid to your Council Tax account.
