Free breakfast clubs

Free breakfast clubs provide primary school children with a nutritious breakfast and early childcare at no cost, helping them start the day ready to learn.

Free breakfast clubs are 30 minute sessions held before school where children receive a healthy breakfast and can engage in activities such as reading or crafts.

These clubs are designed to ensure that no child starts school hungry, supporting both learning and wellbeing. They also provide half an hour free of childcare, helping parents manage busy mornings and work commitments.

For more information visit the Free breakfast club roll out page on the GOV.UK website.
