Apply for or renew a Blue Badge

1. To apply for a Blue Badge you will need to have a My Council account.
  
  A My Council account will allow you to track progress of your application.
  
  With your account you can also access personalised services and save time when using our website again, as your details including your name and address will be pre-filled making forms easier to complete.

  1. ● check your eligibility and apply for a Blue Badge
    
    Application takes around 15 minutes.
4. What you'll need
  1. ● the details of your current Blue Badge (if you’re reapplying)
    
    If you are eligible to apply you will need:
    
    ● your National Insurance number (if you have one)
    
    a photo or scan of your:
    
    ● proof of identity (such as a birth certificate, passport or driving licence)
    
    ● proof of address (such as a recent Council Tax bill or government letter)
    
    ● proof of benefits (if applicable)
    
    ● a recent digital photo showing your head and shoulders only
    
    A Blue Badge costs £10 and usually lasts up to 3 years.

  1. Once you submit your application and it has been reviewed by our specialist team we will contact you to let you know if this has been successful or refused.
    
    If your application is successful you will be requested to make a payment online.

7. What happens to my information?
