Fuel Poverty Partnership


The Fuel Poverty Partnership brings together all key stakeholders to monitor the progress of the Stockton-on-Tees Affordable Warmth Strategy and delivery plan.

It is the lead strategic and delivery body in securing funding and delivering programmes to tackle fuel poverty in the Borough, The Chair of the Environment Select Committee also Chairs this partnership.

The Partnership is committed to working collaboratively to progress the following ambitions and specific tasks:

  • To reduce fuel poverty rates in the Stockton Borough
  • To reduce the impact of fuel poverty on health and wellbeing and its widest community impacts
  • To reduce the number of homes failing to meet the Decent Homes Standards
