Attended Town hall where I conducted the monthly Citizenship Ceremony, there were 9 people from all over the world wanting to become citizens of united Kingdom that were sworn in.

It’s great to see so many people wanting to become citizens of our country and to be part of their ceremony.

20 January 2017

Attended one of four Charity Burns Night celebrations, this one was at Hetton, Hetton le Hole, County Durham. We had the traditional Burns evening meal which included haggis, neeps, and tatties followed by Raspberry Cranachan. We had the addressing of the haggis and a celebration toast to Robbie Burns, I would like to thank the Mayor of Hetton, Cllr David Wallace, for inviting us and his hospitality. Still never won on the raffle, nothing changes even in the New Year.
