During the meeting we will be taking a look at a wide variety of issues including school performance across Stockton-on-Tees, and an update on the Medium Term Financial plan.
Friday will see me attend a Combined Authority briefing with the region’s MPs followed by a meeting with all the Tees Valley leaders. Later that morning I will travel to Middlesbrough to attend Teesside University’s masterplan launch.
Middlesbrough return to Championship competition at the Riverside on Saturday against Queens Park Rangers. Last weekend’s away victory at Bolton was much needed and I’m hoping it will prove to be a real platform for the team to really kick on and mount their promotion challenge.
Back to work on Monday and after catching up on some work in the office I will attend a Member’s briefing in relation to planning issues and the Council’s draft Local Plan.
