Second booking at Stockton's Hilton hotel
New Sales Manager, Lorna Hobson, is the second appointment by the new Hampton by Hilton hotel in Stockton-on-Tees.

Originally from Yarm, Lorna brings a wealth of experience from working at independent hotels and a large events firm.
"I have been working in the North West in a similar role but when this opportunity arose I couldn't wait to return to the Borough," said Lorna, who has relocated to Hartburn with her family.
"It's brilliant to be part of the established Hilton brand and I am really impressed with the regeneration of Stockton town centre and all the exciting events on offer across the Borough.
"I intend to be really proactive in this role - I will be engaging with the local business community to understand potential markets to tap into, and find out how we can take advantage of what Stockton-on-Tees has to offer. We can't forget that the Borough is in an appealing location with close proximity to the seaside and moorland, as well as big cities."
Councillor Nigel Cooke, the Council's Cabinet Member for Regeneration and Housing, added: "We are very pleased to welcome Lorna, who joins General Manager John Lambourne-Richardson as the first recruits of the Hampton by Hilton hotel.
"Her previous experience and hands-on approach will be key in developing positive relationships with local businesses and the community. We can't wait to utilise her skills in attracting and providing a warm welcome to both leisure and corporate visitors."
The hotel site forms part of the mixed-use Northshore regeneration scheme, incorporating new offices, homes and leisure facilities near Stockton town centre.
The 56-acre, £300million scheme is a partnership between Muse Developments, the Homes and Communities Agency and Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council.
