Recycling collections from your home

Refuse workers putting recycling waste into the wagon

COVID-19 rates in Stockton-on-Tees are very high so the Government has named it, along with the rest of the North East, an Enhanced Response Area. Find out more on our Enhanced Response Area page.

For general Coronavirus information including disruptions to Council services or how to book a COVID-19 test visit www.stockton.gov.uk/coronavirus.

We are temporarily operating an alternate weekly collection service of recycling and household waste.

Recycling collections will continue on your designated red or blue week, with household waste being collected on the alternative week. If you do not know whether you are a blue or red week, use the search below or view our Recycling Calendar.

This excludes household waste collections from back alleys or farms which will continue to be collected weekly.

We collect recycling from domestic properties across the Stockton Borough on a designated day (from Tuesday through to Friday) every two weeks.
