Preston Park Skatepark
Jumps, street furniture and a bridge centrepiece graces the Borough’s biggest and newest BMX/skateboard park, opened in Preston Park in the summer of 2014.
The £250,000 scheme includes a street course, a large bowl and a flow section. It is suitable for users of all ages and abilities and meets the needs of a variety of users, including BMXer's, skateboarders, in-line skaters and scooter users.
The design has many challenging features including jump boxes, vertical sections, set-up rails and grind blocks. The skatepark is used not only by residents of Stockton Borough but also appeals to people from across the region.
The course was funded by Sport England and Stockton Council.
