Allison Trainer Park comprises a network of grassed area with cycle ways, tree avenues, footpaths and art features.
The park was renamed in 2011 as a tribute to former local Councillor Allison Trainer and a commemorative plaque stands close to the Five Lamps.
Directions
The main entrances to Allison Trainer Park can be accessed off Lanehouse Road, which is close to the junction with Acklam Road. From here a cycleway takes you into the adjoining Littleboy Park, although there are several other entrances and a main gateway off Acklam Road.
