We have appointed the Tees Valley Music Service (TVMS) to provide a music service for the young people of the Borough. Taking pupils from their very first steps into music at the foundation stage, through primary school, secondary school and into sixth form college.
If you are looking to start playing a musical instrument or are keen on developing your singing skills then TVMS will help you decide which instrument might be best for you. If you're an experienced musician or singer they will put you in touch with other young musicians in your area.
Tees Valley Music Service also provides a range of support options for curriculum music as well as extra-curricular music projects.
They provide specialist curriculum support and advice for primary and secondary class teachers, as well as support for music delivery in special schools. They can arrange individual or whole staff training tailored to the needs of each school.
Visit the Tees Valley Music Service website for more information and see how you can get involved!
