Support for local sports clubs

We have a strong commitment to supporting sports clubs and organisations throughout the Borough. We want to support those who create opportunities that allow people to participate in sport, physical activity or active leisure in a safe and effective environment.

Sports and Activity Leisure Strategy

The Sports and Activity Leisure Strategy has not been developed for the sole use of Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council; it is intended as a framework for our partners who provide active leisure services across the whole of the Borough. We intend to use it to harness the expertise and resources of the public, private and voluntary sectors to really make a positive difference.
