Providing home to school transport
Are you interested in providing home to school transport to a variety of schools, colleges and other education establishments?
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Community Transport Service will shortly be tendering additional home to school transport contracts for the next academic year via its Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
A Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) is a way of producing a list of approved taxi contractors who will be invited to submit prices for home to school transport contracts. Only those contractors who are successfully placed on the DPS will be invited to submit prices.
To apply to be included on the DPS you must register on the councils e-tendering system, ProContract and complete and return a selection form.
We are hoping to request prices from DPS taxi contractors during June 2021, so if you are not currently on the DPS and would like the opportunity to bid for routes commencing September 2021, you will need to register and submit your completed Selection Form before 01st May 2021.
Should you have any questions relating to the Home to School Transport Service please contact the Community Transport Services on 01642 527117. Should you have any queries relating to the application process including any ProContract queries please contact procurement on 01642 527475 or 01642 528464.
