Alderman Worsley Bursary

The Trust was set up in 1947 under the will of the late John Stapleton Worsley, a County Alderman of the former North Riding of Yorkshire County Council. The Trust was originally to support the education of residents of Thornaby-on-Tees.

Tees Valley Community Foundation now has responsibility for the Fund and operates an annual bursary to support a student from Stockton intending to study a full time undergraduate degree at any UK University.

Visit the Tees Valley Community Foundation website for further information.
