Just because you are leaving care, or have already left care, we haven’t stopped caring about you.  We want to make sure you feel safe and supported.  We are here to offer you advice and help.

When you leave our care

When you turn 18 you will no longer be ‘looked after’ and will now be a care leaver. This reflects you becoming a young adult, and you may be able to access a different range of services and support, this new support can be ongoing until you turn 25.

If you are eligible for our local offer, your Personal Adviser can support you with the following:

  • Preparing to leave care
  • Housing and accommodation
  • Education, employment and training
  • Financial support
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Getting your voice heard
  • Advocacy support
  • Becoming a parent
  • Social activities and events

For further information on the full offer please contact 01642 527860.
