Stockton Council Learning and Skills Service have delivered learning programmes in the Tees Valley for more than 50 years.
Our programmes and qualifications are delivered by tutors who are skilled, experienced and friendly offering a flexible service tailored to your needs helping you to develop an informed curiosity and a lasting passion for learning.

English and Maths
Free English and maths courses are delivered by our experienced, specialist tutors across the Stockton Borough Council area. Courses are available throughout the week at various times of the day and evening making it accessible for most learners. We offer free English and maths courses from entry level (beginners) to level 2 and GCSE English and Maths.
ESOL
We deliver ESOL courses from pre entry to Level 2 at our new venue at Stockton Business Centre, Brunswick Street. Our courses help our learners with speaking, listening, reading and writing. To book an assessment to join one of our courses please call 01642 527904.
Help with funding
You may be entitled to fee exemptions or reductions depending on your circumstances. We also offer Learning Support for Adult Skills courses if you have additional learning needs and discretionary learner support for help with hardship circumstances. Please be aware that your course may be part-funded by the European Union Social Fund.
