Teesside International Airport is situated in the heart of the North East, close to the towns and cities of Stockton, Darlington and Durham, ten miles west of Middlesbrough.

It serves Teesside, North Yorkshire and the wider North East with a choice of destinations including Alicante, Palma, Faro, Corfu, Bulgaria, Amsterdam, and routes across the United Kingdom including London Heathrow offering onward worldwide connections.

Principle airlines providing services at the Airport include Ryanair with new routes for 2021 including Alicante, Palma, Faro, Corfu. KLM whose regular services to its Amsterdam Schiphol hub provide access to its worldwide flight network. Loganair and Eastern Airways also offer domestic flights to destinations such as Aberdeen, Belfast, Bristol, Newquay, Jersey and connections to London Heathrow, the UK’s biggest airport. A programme of holiday charter flights also operate from the airport.

The airport was returned to public ownership in early 2019 and was renamed back to the much-loved Teesside International title in July 2019. A ten-year plan is now under way to secure further routes, carriers and passengers.

The airport has recently undergone major redevelopment work, including new check-in desks, overhauled security area and new food and drink and retail offerings.
