Public and community transport

We have a wide range of excellent public and community transport in the Borough.

Community Transport

The council operates three Community Transport bus services. These services are a transport option for individuals who are unable to, or have difficulty accessing local bus services.

Stillington, Whitton, Carlton and Redmarshall Service

To use the services you must become a member and agree to abide by the Terms and Conditions of use.

Call us on 01642 528499 to apply for a membership card. We will need a photograph to process your membership card. If you do not have a passport style photograph that you can send to us, call into one of the customer service centres within the Stockton, Thornaby and Bllingham Libraries Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 5pm, Friday 8.30am – 4.30pm or Saturday 9.30am – 12.30pm.

Once we have a photograph of you a membership card will be issued within five working days.

Your bus pass is not transferable for anyone to give their pass for friends and relatives to use.

Community Transport service passes with the expiry date of 31st March 2020 do not need to be renewed. Please continue to use your pass as usual.
