Stockton on Tees Borough Council (as of September 2017, excluding schools) has 2,403 Full Time Equivalent staff (FTE’s). This will be updated on a quarterly basis.
- Trade Union representatives
There are ten workplace stewards, however the Branch Secretary is the only officer involved in any active casework, with very occasional involvement by workplace stewards. Therefore it is difficult to calculate an accurate FTE figure. The number of representatives who spent at least 50% of their time on union duties is one and the FTE figure is 1.00. The total estimated spending on trade union duties is £32,117. The Relative estimate spending is 0.04% of the total pay bill.
