Please help us prevent, detect and deter fraud. If you suspect that someone is committing fraud within or against the council you should report it straight away.

Allegations of fraud or corruption will be treated seriously and investigated as a matter of urgency. All information is treated in the strictest confidence.

The Council can be exposed to fraud and corruption through a variety of internal and external sources. The following is a list of some of the types of fraud that may be committed against the Council.
