From Monday 11 January 2021, we are offering up to three hours free parking in all Council-run short stay parking areas. These are in Stockton and on Yarm High Street.
Stockton Town Centre public parking
From Monday 11 January 2021, we are offering up to three hours free parking in all Council-run short stay parking areas.
Please note: For short stay off-street car parks, you need to collect and display a ticket from the machine even if you only intend to park for the free duration. Any stay longer than this requires payment and display of a ticket as normal. (Please note - change is not given from the parking machines). Charges still apply for Blue Badge holders. There are no height restrictions at any of these car parks

From Monday 1 October 2018, you need to collect and display a ticket from the nearest machine even if you only intend to park for the free duration. You are required to enter your vehicle registration details.

Motorcycle Parking is free of charge in Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Car Parks, provided it is parked within a bay or designated area.
Electric Vehicle parking
Electric Vehicle Parking is free of charge in Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council short stay Car Parks for 1 hour (no return within 2 hours). The vehicle must be charging and display a valid ticket. You can see the map of available charging points across the North East on the Charge Your Car Website.
