Bright Minds Big Futures
Bright Minds Big Futures (BMBF) is a nationally award-winning youth-led movement, working together with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council to make the Borough a great place grow up. The group is managed by an elected panel of young people known as the Big Committee. Bright Minds Big Futures is a great way for young people to make friends, gain valuable life skills, increase confidence and be involved in making a real difference to the Borough of Stockton.
There are many great opportunities to get involved in which include:
SBC Correspondents – Join the army of young people who attend SBC events and use social media to provide instant coverage and advertisements.
Social Action – Join other like-minded young people to run projects, campaigns, manage funding pots, organise and host events, and be involved in fundraising activities.
Walking for Change - Get involved with BMBF's 246-mile virtual walk to Parliament and raise money for three local charities! Visit our Walking for Change webpage to find out how to get started.
You could also be awarded funding through BMBF's new Pot of Gold:
Pot of Gold - If you are part of an organisation, school council or youth group in Stockton working with young people aged 11-19, you could be awarded up to £500 in BMBF Pot of Gold funding! Visit BMBF's Pot of Gold to find out more.
Bright Minds Big Futures is open to any young person aged 10-19 or below the age of 25 with disabilities - so get involved and have your voice heard! Just head over to join or contact BMBF to get involved!
