Retro homeware, jewellery, gifts and collectables will soon be on offer as Stockton's much-loved Chic Vintique market returns in July.

The popular specialist market, organised by Louise Lewis Events in partnership with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, will be on Stockton High Street from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, 3 July.

Stalls will feature goods ranging from handmade jewellery to vintage homeware, children’s books and clothes, and artisan gifts.

Councillor Jim Beall, the Council's Cabinet Member for Health, Leisure and Culture, said: “Chic Vintique has always been a highlight of our specialist markets programme, helping bring shoppers into our High Street, so we are really pleased to welcome this free event back to Stockton.

“Traders will be selling quality collectables and gifts for people of all ages and interests to enjoy and we’ve carefully planned the market with safety measures in place so they can shop in a COVID-safe manner. These measures also mean the market can go ahead on 3 July while still adhering to national Government guidelines.”

The list of traders includes:

  • Limetree Brocante - vintage and retro homeware, decorative items and accessories.
  • Gem Wishes - handmade gemstone and seed bead jewellery.
  • Shanti Shanti Colours of Nepal - Fairtrade clothes, handicrafts, wall hangings, felt items from Nepal and India.
  • The Little Crafty Workshop - Laser cut and engraved bespoke gifts and keepsakes made from wood and acrylic.
  • Sheila Johnson - handmade rag dolls, children’s dresses, watercolour bookmarks and key rings.
  • Winterberry Wool - handcrafted baby hats and clothing, ladies’ hats and accessories.
  • Usborne Children's Books – books for ages 0-16.
  • Tatjana - ceramics and pottery.
