Preston Park Museum is excited to announce a whole range of family events taking place this Easter.

The fabulous free Easter Egg-stravaganza will take place on Saturday 31 March.

Between 10am and 4pm, there will be all sorts of fun for everyone, including an Easter trail, family crafts, walkabout characters and a Punch & Judy show.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, Councillor Norma Wilburn, said: “Easter is a popular time at Preston Park Museum & Grounds and this year is no different, with a whole series of fantastic family events.

“From the Egg-stravaganza on Saturday 31 March to an exhibition and a whole range of seasonal crafts, there is something for everyone to enjoy!”

There is a chance to enjoy a number of spring themed family crafts, free with museum admission, between Friday 30 March and Friday 13 April.

And from Tuesday 20 March until Sunday 15 April, the museum will have its Eggs-hibition on display in the beautiful Billiard Room.

This exhibition is made up of hundreds of beautifully-decorated eggs, created by school and community groups as well as some of the museum’s dedicated team of volunteers.
