Preston Park Museum’s popular Christmas Bazaar will be on Saturday 2 – Sunday 3 December, bringing you a weekend full of exciting festive fun and events.
Returning for its third year, the Bazaar has become a family favourite Christmas celebration and will be taking place in the museum’s Victorian Street and Music Room.
There will be a Christmas market, featuring a range of hand-picked market stalls, giving you a chance to find that perfect, unique seasonal gift.
There will also be festive foodie delights and entertainment, including carol singing and seasonal craft activities for children, to be enjoyed throughout the day.
And, as it wouldn’t be the festive season without a visit from Father Christmas, we are delighted to announce that he will be in his traditional grotto on the Victorian Street.
Timed tickets to meet Father Christmas will be available from the museum’s Welcome Desk and will cost £5 each, including a gift for the child.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, Councillor Norma Wilburn, said: “With its mixture of a Christmas market, food, crafts and entertainment, the museum’s Christmas Bazaar is always a fun way to start the Christmas season.
“We’re also delighted to hear that Father Christmas will be at the museum that weekend, taking time out of his busy schedule at this time of year!”
The Preston Park Museum Christmas Bazaar is on Saturday 2 – Sunday 3 December, 10am-4pm (last admission 3.30pm). Free entry with museum admission.
