Tuesday, December 5, 2017

People who live near to or use Norton Grange Community Centre are invited to come along to a special Christmas-themed advice session.

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council, in conjunction with partners Groundwork, North Star Housing and the Thirteen Group are inviting people to the event on Thursday, 7 December from 4pm to 7pm.

There will a host of organisations and agencies on hand to offer residents advice, information and guidance on a wide range of issues including energy, home safety and employment.

During the event there will be activities for all the family including wreath-making, bird feeder making as well as cooking demonstrations with tasty samples. There will also be free refreshments and mince pies and Father Christmas will be giving out presents to children in his grotto.

Councillor Steve Nelson, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Access, Communities and Community Safety, said: “Join us at this Christmas themed event to access a wealth of information and advice from organisations from across Stockton-on-Tees.  As well as finding out all that these agencies have to offer you can also enjoy a festive afternoon and visit Father Christmas too.”
