More than 400 school children from across Stockton Borough took a hilarious lesson in ‘dangerology’ yesterday (3 October).

Award-winning comedian and writer, David O’Doherty, prepared the youngsters for many of life’s dangers using Basic Safety Tips and useful acronyms from the enigmatic and ultra-cautious dangerologist, Doctor Noel Zone.

The youngsters were left crying with laughter after hearing “How to tell if their teacher is a vampire?” and “Why bikes are RAD (Really Awfully Dangerous)”.

The event has been organised by Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Libraries Service in partnership with The Grangefield Academy.
