Stockton Summer Show returns to Preston Park Museum and Grounds next weekend.
The popular family event has an action packed programme for all of the family between 11am and 5pm on Sunday 28 and Monday 29 August.
Visitors will enjoy tasty treats and crafts celebrating the very best of the region’s food and produce and there will be an array of entertainment ranging from a fun fair and shows such as Punch & Judy and performances including displays from the Ridgeside Lurchers, The Sheep Show, Atkinson Action Horses, Whizoo Falconry, and a fun dog show.
Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, Councillor Norma Wilburn, said: “The Summer Show is always a firm favourite for all the family and with another fun-filled programme, this year will be no exception.
“It will be a fantastic couple of days with lots to see and do from horse and dog displays to appearances from the 99th Garrison and a fun fair, so if you are looking for somewhere to go this Bank Holiday put the date in your diary and come along!
“Preston Park is the perfect setting for a family day out and the Summer Show is a great opportunity to find out more about the excellent activities that take place there all year round from water based fun with Rivershack’s passenger and rowing boats to the park’s adventure play area and skate park.”
