Face painting, balloon modelling and storytelling will be just some of the activities that families can get involved in this Saturday (21 March) as Billingham Library hosts a free family fun day between 10am and 2pm.
The event will help to celebrate the library's recent opening in Billingham town centre alongside the new customer service centre as part of a £2.7m investment.
Visitors can drop in to the free family fun day and enjoy activities including hearing tales by professional storyteller Chris Bostock, hair braiding, temporary tattoos and a host of other fun-filled goings on.
Councillor Ken Dixon, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, said: "There is going to be plenty to see and do this Saturday for all ages at and I would hope the residents of Billingham and visitors from across Stockton Borough bring their friends and family along to see what is on offer at the new Library, browse the range of books available and to get involved with the wide range of fun and games."
