One of the country’s major rallies of classic vehicles returns as the Fire Engine and Vintage Vehicle Show rolls into the Borough.

The event will take place at Preston Park Museum and Grounds on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June from 11am to 5pm.

Featuring cars, service and commercial vehicles along with fire engines dating from the 1930s to the present day – the show is set to excite and thrill motor enthusiasts both young and old.

There will also be exhilarating displays from the Bolddog Lings Motorcycle Stunt Team and the popular Swamp Thing Monster Truck.

Councillor Norma Wilburn, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, said: “This is a wonderful event that has something for all of the family. I would encourage everyone to come along and join in the fun while helping to raise vital funds for The Firefighters Charity.”

The event is taking place in aid of The Firefighters Charity, which exist to enhance the quality of life for serving and retired firefighters when they are in need of services such as physiotherapy, nursing and psychological support.

Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, £2.50 for children (up to 16 years) and pensioners. There is free entry for wheelchair users and children under the age of five.
