Funky Feet classes extended for under 5s

Monday, June 1, 2015

Stockton Council has extended its popular course of ‘Funky Feet’ children’s activity sessions to include a new Saturday class.

The Funky Feet classes are a 45 minute mix of games and dancing for two to four year olds. They have been developed as an exciting and energetic way for parents to introduce their children to physical activity.

The classes can help children learn to live a healthy lifestyle, develop their cognitive and movement skills, and encourage them to stay active as they grow up.

The new Saturday class takes place every weekend from 9.30am to 10.15am at the Glebe Community Centre in Norton.  Classes are also available throughout the week at a range of times and venues across Stockton-on-Tees.

Costs are just £1.50 for weekdays or £2 for Saturdays. All prices include a piece of fruit.

For more information and to book a place, contact Leanne Oxley, Stockton Council’s Leisure & Sports Development Officer on 01642 524599 or email [email protected]
