Friends, Romans, countrymen - Let's look at coins

Tees Achieve, Stockton Council’s Adult Education Service, is offering a unique insight into the world of Numismatics – the study of coins.

Those with an interest in identifying and collecting Roman coins are being encouraged to enrol on the workshop which will be held at Billingham Community Centre on Thursday 5 February between 6pm and 9pm.

The workshop costs £15 and will cover:

  • An introduction to Roman Imperial coinage
  • Identifying Roman coins
  • Building a collection of Roman coins
  • Valuing Roman coins
