Stockton Council is seeking the opinions of residents on two planning matters which impact on everyone who lives, works, visits and invests in the Borough.
The first consultation concerns the Regeneration and Environment Local Plan, which outlines the Council’s vision for future development and land use within the Borough.
The second, the Community Infrastructure Levy Preliminary Draft Charging Schedule, introduces the levy that the Council can charge on new developments dependent on their size and type.
Comments on either issue should be made in writing and emailed to [email protected] or posted to Spatial Planning Section, Planning Services, Municipal Buildings, Church Road, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1LD.
The consultations, which began on 2 February, are set to end on 16 March.
For those requiring further information on the content of the consultations before contributing comments, contact Stockton Council’s Spatial Planning team on 01642 526050 or [email protected]
All documents are available at www.stockton.gov.uk/spatialplanning and also at all libraries across the Borough.
