Enterprise support for Stockton businesses

Small businesses across Stockton Borough are being offered an opportunity to enhance their entrepreneurial skills.

Starting on Monday 27 April, a series of ten free enterprise workshops are being held at Stockton Enterprise Arcade on Stockton High Street.

They will cover a whole range of topics from developing new sales channels and attracting new customers to business values, customer loyalty and stock management.

All of the workshops will be held between 5.30pm and 7pm once a week from end of April through to July.

Monday 1 June Merchandising – essential visual merchandising that gets your customers buying by using proven techniques including colour, lighting, texture and props.
Monday 8 June Buying & Purchasing making sure you are maximising your buying strategy/matching customer types to ranges and space.
Monday 15 June Product Ranging - Identifying new ranges and improving margins by producing a product plan to improve market share.
Monday 22 June Stock Management Managing stock turn and maximising profits by implementing systems that give you total control.
Monday 29 June  Shrinkage Managing decline and safeguard your profits by reviewing your premises by removing risk.
Monday 6 July Security – Ensuring safety and reducing financial loss within your business by introducing procedures for staff and customers.
