People across Stockton Borough are being encouraged to find out how they can get involved in leading a children’s fun physical activity programme.
Funky Feet is a series of physical activity classes with a difference. The sessions help two to four year olds develop a range of fundamental movement and social skills through an exciting programme of exercise, dance and play.
During the sessions programme leaders will be required to support toddlers and develop their fitness, balance and coordination. You do not need previous experience to become a Funky Feet Leader, just a positive and supportive approach and a sense of fun.
Stockton Council will be holding the event for anyone who would like to know more about the programme and receive information on how to become a programme leader.
The Funky Feet Information and Awareness event will take place on Thursday 3 April, from 4.30pm to 6.30pm. It will be held at Durham University’s Queens Campus in Stockton.
