Preston Park Museum and Grounds is hosting its annual Teddy Bears’ Picnic next weekend.
Children of all ages are invited to take part in a variety of teddy-themed activities throughout the day.
On Sunday 18 August, children can bring along their toys to enjoy storytelling in the park, showcase their creative talent in the arts and crafts activities or have their teddies diagnosed by a Teddy Bear Doctor in the Winter Garden. Activities run from 11am-3pm.
Visitors are welcome in the traditional kitchen where they can decorate tasty biscuits and have their faces painted at the front of the Museum for just a small charge.
Funky Feet, activity trails and a mobile library will also be on site as part of the fun-filled event.
Families are invited to bring a picnic and seating or rug to enjoy a day in the Park’s grounds.
Admission costs £2 for adults, £1 for children aged 5-16 years and concessions (NUS members, the unwaged or over 60s) and under 5s go free.
Family admission (2 adults and 2 children) costs just £4. All tickets are valid for one year from date of issue.
