Preliminary results for 2010 from Cleveland Road Safety Partnership (CRSP), which covers the Cleveland Police operating area, show the area had the best road safety results since records started in 1991, with all four local authorities (Middlesbrough, Stockton-on-Tees, Redcar and Cleveland, Hartlepool) seeing reduction in casualties. Fatalities have also fallen dramatically with three out of four areas having no fatalities in 2010.
