A JOB seekers' event is being held at Stockton Central Library on Tuesday, 9 February.
'Just the Job' has proved very popular and successful in the past with people gaining employment as a direct result of attending the event.
Employment seekers can head along and make use of the suite of computers available for job searching and each person attending will receive a free information pack and a certificate of attendance.
It takes place from 10 - 11.30am and is aimed at those looking for their first job as well as people seeking a career change.
Representatives from employment organisations will be there including advisors from Cabin, Connexions, Five Lamps, JobCentrePlus, Nextstep, Learning Links Europe and the Community Steps Programme.
Kevin Spindloe, from Community Steps, said: "We have attended the job fair at Stockton Library for the last two years and the timing and location of the event gives us a great opportunity to meet and advise people on careers and training."
Councillor Bob Cook, Stockton Council's Cabinet Member for Transport and Regeneration, said: "These events are a great way for those looking to gain employment to be able to talk to the experts and get advice on CVs and application forms."
