Covid-19 continues to impact all of us in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees.
The Community Champion's network has been established to empower and support the residents of Stockton-on-Tees to stay up to date with the latest advice about Covid-19, to myth bust and find out any barriers that face our communities.
The Community Champions will work with families and residents in the Borough to ensure the right message gets to the right people at the right time, in a format they understand.
They will also find out how the pandemic is affecting residents' families, friends and communities, what support they need to keep safe and to identify any barriers which may exist in stopping people following Covid advice and adhering to restrictions.
The Covid Community Champions will support a pool of volunteer Champions to act as a conduit between Public Health and the community.
