Due to the promotion of our current senior leader, the Head Teacher and Governors wish to appoint an outstanding practitioner to lead, teach and inspire our older pupils. They must have considerable knowledge, skill and ability and be able to lead English across the school. The person must be committed to making learning exciting and be someone who can motivate all children to fully develop their potential. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a proven history of high quality teaching and experience of a wide range of pupils within KS2. They need to have evidence to show that they can produce good progress for all groups of children. Initially the main area of responsibility will be to lead KS2. This will also include responsibility for progress and provision across the team. Leadership and management experience is essential as this is a role within the Senior Leadership team of our school. Global awareness and whole school responsibility is pertinent to this role. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to act on and lead new initiatives.
