Bulky waste collections from your home

waste collection

We provide a bulky waste collection service from your home. The items we collect are those which you would normally take with you if you were moving home e.g. beds, settee, fridges, freezers, cookers, TV's, washing machines.

Arrange a bulky waste collection

If you would like to arrange a bulky waste collection from your home you can do so in the following ways.

Alternatively, you can take your waste to the Household Waste Recycling Centre at Haverton Hill.

Charges for collection of bulky household waste

There is a £15.00 charge for the removal of up to 6 bulky household items. This charge must be paid in advance of the collection. Payment can be made by cash or by credit/debit card over the phone.

Additional items of bulky waste can be collected at a cost provided by our Customer Services Team.

Collection arrangements for bulky household waste

Once we have received payment we will notify you of the collection day, this will occur within 10 working days.

Collections will take place between the hours of 7am and 4pm on your confirmed collection day. Collections will be made from the front of your property as crew cannot enter your property, garage or shed.

Collection vehicles may differ depending on the type of bulky household waste that you have. For example, some types of waste, such as fridges and freezers, need to be collected in different vehicles than things like beds and settees.

If you have fixtures or fittings for collection such as,  fitted kitchen, bathroom suite or a fireplace, please contact us and we'll provide a quote for collection.
