St. Mark's C of E Primary (including Nursery) will be closed on Friday 15 November 2019 for an ongoing environmental clean and is expected to re-open on Monday 18 November 2019.
The redevelopment of the Victoria Site to create a vibrant new community, providing exemplar and sustainable urban living has taken a huge step forward after planning permission for the development was approved.
The planning application was submitted by Keepmoat Homes for a contemporary design, using their new range of 2018 house types. There will be 143 new homes on the development which will include a range of 2, 3 and 4 bedroom houses and 2 bedroom bungalows. 20% of the new homes will be provided for affordable rent / affordable home ownership. All affordable homes on the development will comply and in some cases exceed the Homes England National Designed Space Standards.
The external, green landscape will be aimed at accommodating pedestrians, cyclists and encouraging sustainable modes of transport and have strong walking links to the town centre with its range of shops, bars and restaurants.
Keepmoat hope to be in a position to start on site in the autumn of 2019.
