Big plans for our places and open spaces

Mandale Park

Stockton Borough Council, Tristar Homes (part of the Thirteen Group), Barratt Homes, Keepmoat and ISOS Housing have been working in partnership since 2004 to deliver the regeneration of the Mandale Park estate, Thornaby.

The regeneration of the Mandale Park Estate has seen 578 residential units demolished and replaced by 630 new homes which have been built for sale by Barratt and Keepmoat.  There have also been over 250 new homes for rent built on behalf of ISOS Housing.  The regeneration of Mandale Park is not just about building new homes a new £1 million park for the community has also been created.

All new houses on the development have now been completed.  Stockton Borough Council is currently working with Barratt and Keepmoat to ensure the roads and footpaths at Mandale Park are to an acceptable standard, along with the landscaping prior to it being adopted by Stockton Borough Council.

Once Mandale Park has been adopted the Council will be responsible for the roads, footpaths, street lighting and areas of open space.  The Council hopes to adopt Mandale Park by the end of December 2017.

For additional information about Mandale Park please contact the Housing Regeneration Project Officer by email: or telephone 01642 528792.
