Mandale Park

housing

Stockton Council, along with Tristar Homes (part of the Thirteen Group), Barratt Homes, Keepmoat and ISOS Housing are working together to deliver the regeneration of the Mandale Park estate, Thornaby.

The Mandale Estate comprised of 578 units of residential accommodation, three retail units, a community center, an advice center and the former Dene School Playing Field (off Mitchell Avenue).

Mandale Park is excellently located to benefit from close proximity to the A19 and the newly refurbished Thornaby Town Centre.  The scheme has already brought about improvements to both the housing and quality of life for residents of Mandale Park.

Over 630 homes for private sale and shared ownership have been delivered by Keepmoat and Barratt Homes and over 250 new homes for rent have been built by ISOS Housing Association and are occupied by residents who have been affected by the regeneration scheme.

The regeneration of Mandale Park is not just about building new homes. A new £1million park for the community, along with jobs and training through a local apprenticeship scheme are all part of the ongoing project.

Keepmoat Homes have completed their build programme, leaving just Barratt Homes onsite to complete their remaining properties, which they are expected to do by the end of the summer 2016.

For additional information about the Mandale Housing Scheme please contact the Housing Regeneration Project Officer by email: sam.dixon@stockton.gov.uk or telephone 01642 526686.
